Healthy Beauty By Bethany: Detox your stank Armpits

I love good smelly items just like the next gal, but do you know how toxic your deodorant really is. Our skin is our largest organ. I tell my clients it's like a sponge. Non-organic deodorant's contain some of these harmful cancer-causing ingredients. Most conventional deodorants contain a slew of toxic chemicals, such as aluminum chlorohydrate, parabens, propylene glycol, triclosan, TEA, DEA, FD&C colors, and Talc, among others. Unfortunately, the clarity we desperately need is not so easy to come by.

Let's get to the detox and what you will need. This might just change your life. It changed mine. I always got lumps and bumps because my pores were clogged under my arms because of the chemicals.

Detox Recipe

1 Tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar "Braggs is what I use"

3 Drops of rosemary essential oil. Please use either Doterra or young living. You can order from my site and it can be shipped right to your door.

5 Drops of cilantro essential oil

1 tablespoon of Clay "Health beauty Aztec secret Clay". You could find on Amazon for a few dollars, also in your local health food store

Get Detoxing

Mix everything that I said prior in a glass bowl. When you are using pure essential oils, it is crucial that you only use glass items. If you don't you can destroy the oil and cancel out what you were working so hard to do. You can use a foundation flat brush to mix up the product. It should be like a yogurt consistency. Gently rub in a circular motion under your arms and let sit for a few minutes. Wipe it off and do every day until the odor subsides. Throughout the day if are smelling some FUNK, it's you! That's normal and you're detoxing. You are welcome to soak a cotton ball with apple cider vinegar a wipe throughout the day if you smell.

Detox should go on for six days. Remember to drink plenty of water because you are detoxing. You need to flush that out of your system.
