I just wanted to share this recipe and I got a kick out of this. It's meant to be a bit humorous Because the nutrition world tends to be overly serious sometimes. This recipe is from "Dude Food".
Jammin' Dishwasher Salmon
2 pounds center cut salmon fillet
(no thicker then 1-1/4 inches)
1 Orange, cut into 1/8 inch slices
4 Tablespoons orange juice concentrate
1 Teaspoon fresh or dried thyme
1 rinse the salmon fillet and pat dry. Remove any bones with needle nose pliers. Yep I said pliers.
2. One a flat surface, pull out a length of aluminum foil long enough to cover and fold the fish, plus a little extra. Place orange slices in the middle and arrange the salmon on top. Spread the concentrate over the salmon and sprinkle with thyme. Bring the short ends of the foil together, meeting in the middle of the fish. Align the edges evenly and fold them over at least twice, crimping the final edge. Bring the long sides together, folding and crimping in the same manner.
3 Place the bundle on the top rack of an empty dishwasher. Close the door and set the machine on a normal cycle another 5-7 minutes. Unwrap and transfer to a platter.
Let me know if anyone tries this and ps no dishes and no dish washer liquid needed. Again, no dishes or dish washer fluid needed. Enjoy!!!
