What can a steamer do for you? I bet you are for sure asking that right now at this moment. Teehee! I love them and it makes making veggies super and done in a flash.
There's is a bunch of different ways you can steam veggies. I have a bamboo steamers, which are nice because its naturally antimicrobial. Sweet right. Plastic steamers which I am not in love with, even if they say PBA free. Stainless steel steamer is my number one love for my veggies. The best part was it was only $25 at JC penny's. This steamer is shatter resistant, steams veggies, seafood, tamales and more. All the vegan restaurants do it like this, except its a huge restaurant size one.
It's great for people that don't really know how to steam veggies. You don't want to cook your vegetables until they are limp because your killing the life and great things that are in them. That's why macrobiotic eaters only cook to a certain degree, so they still get the full nutrients in every bite. Also great for y'all who say you don't have time to cook fresh veggies because it takes less them 3 minutes. You just put water in the bottom of the pot and put the steal steamer insert with veggies of course and cook em up.
Then just throw on some seasoning. I just use lemon, sea salt, pepper, turmeric (fight cancer with this baby), ume plum vinegar by Eden selected, rawmensan cheese , herb n spice and gluten free. That it folks and eat and enjoy your vegetables! Off to eat my kale Chips I just made.
